There you have it. A complete list of best and most popular male and female ( boys and girl ) cat names that you can take an inspiration.
How do you pick the right name for your cat?
Got your list. Now what? How do you make sure to pick the right name ?
We know, your new cat is going to be your family member & it’s a very special moment. But I assure you, finding a good nameneed not to be so difficult.
Here’s the 4 step checklist:
1) Is it easy to remember / pronounce : The name should be easy to read and pronounce. Some names are great to read but tough to pronounce in everyday life. I recommend to spell out loud for few times and see if it’s easy for you & your family member to pronounce. If yes, go ahead. If not, browse through the list & pick a different one.
2) Do you feel comfortable : Many people do not like to say their pet’s name in the public. You need to be comfortable first. Make sure you do it right in the very beginning. If you are not sure, go for another one.
3) Fit your cat : Make sure the name you pick matches your cat & his/ her personality.
Do you have any suggestions? If you know a name we did not list, feel free to comment. Also, please share this article if you find your cat name using our guide.
